Track Tyre Pressure Logging
Pressure logging is how you turn guesswork into setup. Without notes, every session starts from memory. With notes, the car gets easier to predict.
What to record
- Track and layout
- Tyre make and size
- Cold pressure
- Hot pressure
- Ambient temperature
- Session length
- Driver notes
What to look for
If the same tyre always gains too much pressure, start lower. If it never reaches your target hot pressure, start higher or check whether the session is long enough to generate heat.
Simple rule
The best setup note is one you can actually understand when you return to the same circuit six months later.
